Easter at the Babcock's House

For the past few years, we have had Easter at our house. The Easter bunny comes to our house, so why not just have everyone over. It makes it easy on us, really, although, I have to feed everyone (but you know I LOVE to do that! Really! I enjoy party planning!) When I mean everyone, I mean our entire family: The Babcock's from El Campo, The Schroer's, The Carroll's...anyone who wants to join!

The Easter bunny came (but not bright and early!). Same old, same old...eggs were hidden in the house, and baskets were sitting, waiting, with presents! ;) The Easter Bunny always brings us a board game. We love games! And this year, he also brought Jackson a good old fashioned Slinky! Because, hey, who doesn't love a Slinky?!

Everson's first Easter Basket

The Easter Bunny brought Jackson these HUGE Texas-seized Jelly Beans, and left a trail from his room, all the way down the stairs, that led him to his basket...he freaking loved it! :)

...eating a Jelly Bean he picked up from the stairs!

Everson discovered the grass for the first time! He wasn't quite sure what to think about it! :)

hhhhhmmmmmm.....

He palmed an egg and picked it right up! We were a little shocked! :)

He loved his glasses from Aunt Kayla!

The next day, we got our family portraits taken, since we forgot and didn't have time on actual Easter Sunday! My plan was to get them in before/after church, but that didn't happen...
