Holly Kent and Nicole Stilwell, along with Baby Pierson, came to see our little bundle! Each of them brought a sweet gift for little man: a TON of registry gifts and a CUTE baseball outfit with matching shoes and a children's story bible! They hung out and we let Pierson hold the baby--but she's going to have to learn to be "gentle" before her Mommy has any more babies!! HA!
Next, Jim and Pauline Kiely stopped by and brought a GREAT Shephard's Pie dinner! I love getting meals!! That's the best gift, really, for a new mommy! They are so sweet--even Jim took Everson and cuddled for a little bit!
Our neighbors stopped in next--we have GREAT neighbors!! Ms Allison and Ms Kim came in to cuddled and chat. They brought Ev the cutest Monkey Sleep n Plays and matching blankets!! :) I can't wait to get my little monkey in them!!
Our best friends, Jeff and Alecia, came down from Houston to bring us dinner (a Mexican casserole--yum!!), eat with us, and hang out and hold the baby!! It was so good to see them! We don't get together nearly enough! Jeff was soo cute--he was the first to grab him up! And he sat and held him forever--he's a natural with babies!! I'm a little shocked, really. I've known him since college, and I would NEVER have guessed him to be a baby guy!! :)
My great great great friend Paige came by first, though. She had come to the hospital, and needed another baby fix! It's so nice to have great friends. Really! Paige brought Miss Katie along--and she got to hold Everson! She was so happy! She's never held a baby before, but she was a pro!!
And, of course, Memaw and PaPaw and GG Jane and Aunt Tacey have been in and out all week! Everson is so greatly blessed--so many people love him already and he's just a little guy!
